Kaaju Rice


Ingredients :
1) Basmati rice 2cups
2) Fried Cashewnuts 15-20

3) Shahzeera 1/3 tsp
4) Cardamom 3
5) Cinnamon stick 1"
6) Cloves 3
7) Brown fried onions 1/2 cup
8) Water as required
9) Salt to taste
10) Ghee 1tbsp


Method:
1. Wash and soak Basmati rice for half an hour.
2. Boil water along with cloves, cardamoms, cinnamon sticks, Shahzeera and salt in a large pot. Add the rice and cook till almost done. Drain the rice, level it evenly and pour ghee over it.
3. Sprinkle cashewnuts and fried onions and cook covered on very low flame till rice is completely cooked!!
Serve hot!!
