1) Rice 2 cups
2) Tomatoes - Finely chopped 4
3) Ginger-Garlic paste 1tbsp
4) Oil 4-5 tbsp
5) Tomato paste 3-4tbsp
6) Coriander pdr 1tsp
7) Onion finely chopped 1medium
8) Turmeric pdr 1/2tsp
9) Green chillies 4
10) Chicken OR Vegetable stock cubes 2 + 3cups of water
11) Salt to taste
Wash and then soak rice in plenty of water for at least 20-30 minutes
Heat oil in a pan, add onions and saute - do NOT let them brown just translucent and add ginger-garlic paste.
Next add the chopped tomatoes, tomato paste, coriander pdr and turmeric pdr, bhunofry well.
Reduce the heat and let it simmer to a thick sauce.
Add stock cubes with 3cups of water and bring to boil. Add drained rice and green chillies and let it cook till the water is absorbed and rice is well cooked.
Serve hot and enjoy!!
P.S. Adjust salt while cooking as stock has salt in it!!
